ABOUT THE MASTERCLASS
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world. In France, 40,000 new cases are detected each year placing it in third position after prostate and breast cancer. In terms of mortality rate, it is in second position after lung cancer.
This 5-day course, under the scientific direction of Prof. Eric Rullier and Dr. Quentin Denost, will include theoretical learning, live surgery and interactive sessions. The main topics will be medical and technical innovation for colorectal cancer, IBD and pelvic floor disorders.

DR. QUENTIN DENOST
Professor Eric Rullier is Head of the Colorectal unit at the Magellan Surgical Center from Haut-Lévèque Hospital in Bordeaux, France. He is a First Class University Professor since 2001. Professor Rullier is also former Head of Digestive Surgery Department (from 2011 to 2016) and former Head of Colorectal Unit (2011 to 2010) of the Bordeaux University Hospital.

Dr. Quentin Denost is an Assistant Professor in colorectal and pelvic surgery at the Bordeaux University Hospital, France since 2016. He was clinical and research fellow at Bordeaux University hospital from 2011 to 2015. Dr. Denost was also honorary clinical and research fellow in The Royal Marsden Hospital (London, UK) and in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (Sydney, Australia) in 2015.

The PelviCare project is born of a collaboration between Professor Eric RULLIER and Dr. Quentin DENOST, colorectal surgeons at the Magellan Medico-Surgical Center of the CHU de Bordeaux / université de Bordeaux and the Bordeaux University Foundation with the support of Medtronic, STERIS, and Ethicon.
Pelvicare's main vocation is to be an accelerator of innovation by stimulating the sharing of multidisciplinary knowledge between experts in order to offer patients the best care and techniques possible in the following pathologies:
